Privacy Policy

Last updated September 26, 2026

This policy explains what information Assetcount, Inc. ("Assetcount", "we", "us") collects through assetcount.co (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers the Site only. If your firm becomes a customer, our agreement with your firm governs the data you put into the Assetcount platform.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Access requests. Your name, firm, role, work email and, if you choose, portfolio size, a description of your firm and what it's looking for, asset types, markets, the tools you use, what you want most, and when you're looking to onboard.
  • Contact messages. Your name, email address and message.
  • Sign-in. The work email address you use to sign in.
  • Meetings. When you book a call, the scheduling service shares your name, email and any notes you add with us.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server logs when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time of the request. We use these logs to run and secure the Site. The Site does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or tracking pixels, and it loads no third-party fonts or scripts in your browser.

How we use it

  • To reply to you, assess whether Assetcount fits your firm, and prepare for and hold calls.
  • To set up and manage access, including showing the status of your request when you sign in.
  • To operate, secure and improve the Site, and to prevent spam and abuse.
  • To comply with law and enforce our terms.

We do not use the information you give us for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing that service:

ProviderWhat they doWhat they receive
VercelHosts the SiteServer logs; form submissions in transit
ResendDelivers form submissions to us by emailThe contents of forms you submit
Cal.comSchedules calls you bookWhat you enter when booking, under Cal.com's own privacy policy

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep access requests and messages for as long as we're in conversation with you and for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless your firm becomes a customer or the law requires longer. Server logs are kept for a short period set by our hosting provider. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to confirm whether we hold information about you, send you a copy, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live, including Texas and California, you may have additional rights under state law, including the right to appeal a decision we make about your request. Email andrew@assetcount.co with "Privacy request" in the subject. We'll verify the request comes from you and respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

The Site doesn't track visitors across other websites and doesn't allow third parties to collect information about your browsing on the Site over time or across sites. Because of that, a browser's Do Not Track signal doesn't change how the Site works. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your information, which we don't do in any case.

Security

The Site is served over encrypted connections, and form submissions are delivered over encrypted channels to a small number of people who need them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site is for businesses and professionals. It isn't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Where we process information

Assetcount is based in the United States, and we and our service providers process information in the United States.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
