We want everyone to be able to use assetcount.co, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We test with automated tools and by hand, including keyboard-only use, color contrast measurement, text resizing to 200%, and narrow screens down to 320 pixels wide.
What we've done
- Text and controls meet WCAG contrast ratios, including the borders of form fields.
- Every page works with a keyboard, shows a visible focus outline, and offers a "Skip to content" link.
- Form fields have labels, mark optional fields, and suggest autocomplete where it helps.
- The opening animation on the home page runs for about three seconds, ends as soon as you press any key, and is skipped entirely if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Decorative images and drawings are hidden from screen readers; images that carry meaning have text alternatives.
Known limitations
- Some pages, including sign-in and the account view, are in preview and may change as we build them out.
- The scheduling page for booking calls is provided by a third party, Cal.com, and its accessibility is outside our control.
